The ECITB ACE Card (Assuring Competence in Engineering construction) is a CSCS Card affiliated scheme for engineering construction workers. The ECITB ACE Card provides an industry wide standard of assurance that you have the skills, competence and health and safety knowledge required to do your job at the level to which you are employed. It acts as a quality standard recognised by all British construction employers.
Your ACE Card will show a current photograph of you on the front. It will also list your full name; your registration number; your certificate (card) number; and the expiry date of the Card. The ECITB ACE Card is colour coded according to the CSCS colour scheme.
Your registration number is linked to a record of all your current qualifications. Your employer or site manager can use your registration number to check that the qualifications you hold are still valid.
You will need to pass the relevant CSCS Health and Safety Test, and hold a Construction NVQ at the level required for the colour of ACE Card you are applying for. Construction Support Line can book your CSCS Health and Safety Test for you to sit in as little as 48 hours after the date of your first inquiry.
Your ACE Card has an expiration date listed on the front. Construction Support Line can help you apply for a replacement when your card expires - or in the event that you lose it.More FAQs...
