Gold CSCS Card - Supervisor

Why get a CSCS card?

This advanced level card is intended for supervisors within the construction industry.

If you hold an advanced NVQ/SVQ certification, a Gold CSCS card will show employers that you have the capability you need to supervise personnel in a construction environment.

Do I qualify?

Most people qualify for their Gold CSCS card by achieving employment experience as a supervisor in the construction industry, and having the following:

• Achieved a level 3 (occupational work supervisor) or level 4 (site supervisor) SVQ or NVQ in a construction environment and in a supervisory capacity
• Passed the Supervisory CITB Health & Safety Test

How long is it valid for?

This card is valid for five years and can be renewed.

What is the next step?

Many gold card holders seek higher NVQ or SVQ qualifications. If you achieve a level 5+ management NVQ or SVQ, you may attempt to earn your Black (Manager) CSCS Card.
