With a Tiling NVQ, you can apply for a higher level CSCS card and be eligible for better job opportunities. To an employer, the Tiling NVQ is a demonstration of your professional competence and a commitment to your career. Our qualified and approved assessors use the OSAT (On Site Assessment and Training) approach which ensures you need not miss a day of work.
With a Level 2 NVQ you can get a Blue CSCS Card.
A Level 3 NVQ will qualify you for a Supervisory CSCS Card.
After a Level 4 NVQ you can get a Black CSCS Card.
One of our approved assessors will carry out the OSAT at your place of work. You do not need to take time off work for the assessment.
How long the assessment takes will depend on your skills, experience and prior qualifications.
There are no formal prerequisites for the Level 2 Tiling NVQ. Check the units of the Tiling NVQ to ensure you have the skills necessary to pass the NVQ assessment.
The assessment for each Tiling NVQ is divided into mandatory units and optional units. Candidates must pass all mandatory units and any optional units.
Construction Support Line has an installment program that starts from as low as a £ 150 deposit. Assessment can commence on payment of the deposit with subsequent installments at different phases of the assessment. If you fail to achieve the required credits to complete the Tiling NVQ, you may be reassessed and/or take additional units to obtain the required amount of credits and prove your competence in your given field.
The Health, Safety & Environment Test you apply for will depend on the Tiling NVQ you possess. All Tiling NVQs holders should take the Operative Health, Safety & Environment Test unless they are apply for a Black CSCS Card in which case they should take the Managerial and Professional Test. If you apply for your Tiling NVQ assessment through Construction Support Line, you will automatically be registered for the Health, Safety & Environment Test at no extra cost.
